Green Building Definition

Green building covers comprehensive building design, construction, operations and demolitions. A green building incorporates design, construction and operational practices that significantly reduce or eliminate its negative impact on the environment and its occupants. Green Building use resources efficiently while creating healthier environments for people to live and work in. Green Building builders select appropriate sites, employ green materials, take advantage of optimum environmental free resources such as lighting, ventilation, rainwater and install energy-efficient mechanical equipment where required.

Green or Sustainability is about people and balance. It is about the allocation of finite resources over time to generate maximum social benefit. Green designer should produce humane and able to uplifting buildings for their clients and building users, but also to safeguard the interest of the urban context, its people and the environment at large.
